Farmers Day Special Story : राजस्थान के सीकर जिले के पास नानी गांव में किसान मोटाराम शर्मा ( Farmer Motaram ) ने कोडी सेफ मशरूम ( Mushroom Farming In Rajasthan Sikar ) को उगाने में सफलता हासिल की है। अब तक मोटाराम ने ऋषि मशरूम, पिंक मशरूम, शाजर काजू, काबुल एंजाई, ब्लैक ईयर, ओयस्टर, डीजेमोर, सिट्रो, सागर काजू सरीखी 16 किस्म की मशरूम ( 16 Varieties Of Mushrooms ) तैयार की है। दावा है कि प्रदेश में पहली बार तैयार कोडी सेफ मशरूम के भाव दो लाख रुपए किलो तक है। गौरतलब है कि मोटाराम को मशरूम उत्पादन के लिए भारत सरकार ने कृषि सम्राट और कृषि रत्न पुरस्कारों से नवाजा जा चुका है।
कोडी सेफ मशरूम हिमाचल में उगने वाली एक बेहद दुर्लभ प्रजाति की मशरूम की है। इस मशरूम की तिब्बत, चाइना, मलेशिया, कोरिया जैसे विदेशों में भारी मांंग है। कैंसर, एचआइवी, हिपेटाइटस, मधुमेह के इलाज में कारगर यह मशरूम हिमाचल में बर्फ पिघलने के बाद एक कीडे के मरने के बाद उसके सिर में पैदा होने वाली फफूंद होती है। कीड़े के आकार के आधार पर इसे स्थानीय भाषा में कीडाजड़ी के नाम से जाना जाता है। सोलन में इसका प्रशिक्षण लेने के बाद वे वहां से एक परखनली में कल्चर लेकर आए। सीकर में इसका उत्पादन लेने की ठानी और ऑटोक्लेव पद्धति से ब्राउन राइस का बेस तैयार किया।

मशरूम उत्पादन में समृद्धि की राह पर चलने वाले मोटाराम शर्मा की गिनती देश के प्रगतिशील मशरूम उत्पादकों में होती है। हिमाचल के सोलन में राष्ट्रीय खुंब निदेशालय से प्रशिक्षण लेने के बाद मशरूम उत्पादन को बढ़ाने के लिए मोटाराम शर्मा अब युवाओं को प्रशिक्षण देते हैं।
